As a new Seattleite, I have observed the city's yearn for their beloved SuperSonics who moved to be the Oklahoma City Thunder not too long ago. What makes a city NBA-able? Which cities statistically should have NBA teams but don't? Which cities have NBA teams but perhaps, shouldn't? These were some of my driving questions as I began this project. I compiled demographic, business, sports, geography, and education metrics to see if there existed a visual relationship between these data and whether or not a city had an NBA team.

With such a model, I was able to start predicting whether a city should or should not have an NBA team. Note: this is not a super robust model, but it was a very fun project. And it also seemed to heavily predict that the SuperSonics were ripe for a reboot!
